Summer and Fall Events
It's been a chilly and a wet summer, but August at least looks a little warmer if not any drier.
Below is the remainder of the fall events coming up.
September 11-13 - 6 PM Friday until 6 PM Saturday. Cornerstone's All Church Leadership Retreat at Camp Oak Hills with Jim McCracken, who will also preach on September 13. The Theme of the retreat is "The Difference Between Ancient Boundary Stones and Old Wine Skins. The Cost of the retreat is $20 per adult plus $10 per kid under 12 or $60 per family (whichever is less). Jim McCracken served as pastor of Cityn Hill Church for many years and has mentored churches through Truebridge, a family of congregations who share a common vision of relating foundationally and practically to New Testament truth.
October 2 - Friday - Mission Dinner at Evangelical Covenant Church in Family Life Center in the back of the main building. The service will be from 5 PM to 7 PM. Missions supported include the Bemidji Food Shelf, Churches United, Habitat for Humanity, Heartland Christian Academy, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, My Life Radio, New Beginnings Jail Ministry, Your QFM Christian Radio Station, Salvation Army, and Timber Bay House. All hands are needed to sell tickets and to serve.
We hope that you who are members of Cornerstone will mark your calendars for these important events, recognizing that it will take all of us doing our part to bring them to fruition.
